It's disturbing how I'm inclined to side with Savage here. Punctuation is a virtue...

I don't know you personally, Nur, so don't take this personally, but I wouldn't trust you one inch. Franco's adventure with you seems more like a deal with the devil than a holy alliance. The only thing that has come out of his association with you is confusion, mistrust, and a search for the real identity of the NPO that now must include the uncomfortable proposition of embracing its former arch-enemy. If you're pretending to be a friend to the NPO, that's a role play more ridiculous than your identity as christ incarnate.

Lactating Nuns, I am in no way pretending to be a friend of the NPO, I AM a friend of the NPO. I have already supplied them with valuable information. I have a thirst. May I wet My lips with your most holy milk?

Not too long ago you were quite possibly NPO enemy number one. What happened? Oh, right. You were reborn. Now you love the NPO. Well, my milk-laden breasts glow in the presence of lies (call it a superpower), and I'm a freaking dual-beam lighthouse right now, guiding the good ship NPO away from your rocky shores. I just hope the captain of the ship knows what he's doing.

There are a few ways to look at this:
1)FS and the Senators of the NPO know more about Nur than we do - and they do trust him.
2)FS and the Senators of the NPO know more about Nur than we do - and they don't trust him.
3)FS and the Senators made a deal with Nur and don't trust him.
If our government has proven anything, it is that trust is the most desired trait in a nation - that trust comes at a premium that is below no other.
Look at our boards - at all the many faithful that post here and take an active role in the region. Yet few are Senators - not because their effort and faith is misguided, but in such an unstable world it takes many long months to trust someone and be sure of their loyalties.
Regardless of Nur's true intentions, I have NO doubt in the world that our leaders would EVER invalidate the importance of trust in this of all scenarios. Nobody trusts a traitor. If they did it once, they can do it again. Our leaders are well aware of that notion - many of our enemies themselves are traitors to various causes they previously supported.
Nur is no exception. Just because our leaders say they trust him, does not mean they do. I would suspect they trust Nur no more than me, Tar A, Mars Sara, Desetland, or even you, Nuns. Remember, whatever Nur tells us about how much he is trusted, that does not mean our leaders truly subscribe to a similar philosophy.
The NPO would NEVER put its rule of the Pacific in the hands of a traitor. I have every confidence that Nur's presence and power has been dealt with accordingly by members of the NPO.
We have nothing to fear from him. Have faith in our leaders.

Yes punctuation is a virtue, But! if this is supposed to be like RL, then we are supposed to be talking like in RL, then we don't use commas and full stops, we just talk naturally While the goal of this forum and Nationstates in general may be to imitate real life, this can only work to a certain extent. Unlike real life, when you are typing out a post, you are given time to ponder over what you are saying and are given every opportunity to correct your spelling and grammar. What may constitute a fluid and easy-to-follow oratory more often then not looks like pig-dung when written down verbatim. There are a lot of "uhh's" as well as frequent repetition and often-incomplete sentence fragments used in natural speech. Trying to "talk naturally" when typing just makes it difficult for the reader to follow what is being said.

Rather poor timing on bumping this thread. Good points, though.

I know that maybe I should not post here, but I just thought that I should say something.
I know that things got "interesting" to say the least, but in the end, it is the driving force of someone to discover their own truths in their own ways that leads to peace, or at the very least some semblance of peace.
Just a few thoughts on the matter.
