Thank you Abysseria, Thorin, TGESN, Azerbaijanistanialand, Desetland, and Aleisyr. I am always impressed and pleased with the community effort. As it happens, the following nations were ruled to be within 1008:
Vradtik (simple profanity is typically within 1008), Upper Paraguay, Tramonas, The Quag, Romahin, Nookiestan, Tn3, Tn8, Aa1 (for the last three, I'd hesitate to call any name so short gibberish), Abanasia, Black Citizens, Cantonialand, Ceown, Coteblanc, Deadpeoplefromhell, Asdfearerherhaag (active), Azzbzz, Bartholin, Bb4, Blubberbutt, Bob1234567.

Aah, quite an achievement reaching the 50 plateau. Please PM the administrator (Praetor) if you would like your title altered.

Again, very impressive. However, I must ask you to restrict nations reported on this thread to be in violation of rule 1008 of the Civil Code. If you wish to report a subversive/invading nation, please contact the Delegate or a Senator personally.

Your assistance is appreciated, and indeed a number of nations you listed were in violation of 1008, but for future reference, mottos have a little more leeway than the names of the nations themselves.
Everybody: many thanks again for your help. Seems maintaining the Pacific's status as the most sanitary mega-region in the world is a never-ending job, and your effort is most appreciated.

Well, obviously Mariupol has not read the earlier thread from Francos: report violations of Code 1008 here. Subversive reports should go to a senator.

The motto of this nation -Tequilla- is in my opinion in violation of Civil Code 1008. 1212334568654321 is also in violation of 1008. It is reconmended that the Delegate list the nations of the pacific, this will enable him/ her to see the first few pages which has several nations with similar names made up with numbers. 1bigcock4u Offensive name, in violation of 1008. |

Just a curiousity: Why do we eject/ban someone for having sexual names? It's not like nobody's heard those words before. I can understand booting people for racist mottoes, etc, but why can't someone have "The Republic of Hot Titties" or "The Dominion of The Cocksman" or whatever? What harm does it do?

Good for you, legally though, under 16 is a child. If it was simply Penis as a nation name, I personally see no problem with it, but take a look at the back list. There have been advocates of rape and child molestation, bestiality and perversity in the region. The rest are just tossed out with the truly profane.
I did not want to go into this but the basis of your arguement is flawed. People have heard racist terms before, so why punish them? Because its not acceptable and can be offensive. Simple as that.
The age 16 was an example. My 8 year old sister plays this game occasionally so back the fuck up ok?

I'm a big advocate of freedom of speech. Advocating child rape isn't cool, but I honestly don't see what's wrong with the rest of them.
And this was a "Franco Question" anyway. Back off my Franco questions.
I used the word "fuck" regularly at age 8, so you can back the fuck up if you like.

All right, gentlemen, back to your corners and wait for the bell.
If you read this link from the beginning, Livingood, you'll see that it makes reference to the Civil Code, section 1008, which prohibits objectionable nation names, flags, or mottos.
Whether you believe in free speech or not is not the issue at hand, though I respect and share similar beliefs. The issue at hand is whether or not these nations posess objectionable names, flags or mottos. The term "objectionable" is vague, but is so on purpose. It allows Francos the chance to view those we turn in for infraction and make case by case decisions.
Additionally, it allows the NPO to maintain a level of civility and respect that is generally missing from regions with nations that possess names such as cocksucker and blueballed bitch. At the same time it permits us to protect those children which are NOT familiar with those words and wish NOT to become familiar with them.
Is there a time and a place for those words? Perhaps, but as a feeder region the Pacific must be held to high standards which not only protect the integrity of the game, but also provide its players a place to play the game uninterrupted by those that would otherwise be objectionable and offensive.
