I could build eat a bowl of shredded paper if I wanted to, it is possible, but this does not make it easy, or likely to happen. I love Kraft Dinner. Problem with only taking the registered voting on the offsite forums into account for choosing a delegate is the relatively few numbers of people who bother to register there. Then they would be open to criticism from outside groups that would form like the Real West Pacific or the West Pacific Army for actually enforcing a representative system comprised of nations who actually care about what's going on in the region. The delegate would have a lower endorsement count and all the nay sayers on the outside would point and say "Obviously a Tyrant. Look how few people endorse them compared to our massive counts" That's a scary idea. I'm not sure if I'm being helpful here or not....

A more equitable system, if you are resolute on keeping the endorsement method, would be to eliminate the endorsements that are shared by the two candidates. Then they would be competing purely on the grounds of which has the most support from individuals. You'd have to nominate a commitee to over see the tally, but Im sure there would be plenty to dig in and help.

I find it interesting that they place an endorsement cap on those within their government, but we've been criticized for placing a cap on ours.
Funny, I think.

A "noobish" question is perhaps in order: If the competitor for delegate has accepted the Vice Delegate role, why does her nation appear nowhere on the West Pacific regional message board but lesser ranked officer's names do?
Thought it bears asking since our honorable government is being asked to believe that this matter is concluded.

Offsite elections: Black Adder has it headnailed. Tgram campaign: FS himself knows the power of a good campaign - he didn't start gaining endorsements until the 'tgram spam' stopped. SLR/Nur gained hundreds in a very short time via an effective campaign. Direct advertisement works. Factbook entry: Don't look for sinister meanings in trivial details I'd like to thank you all for the stimulating conversation, particullarly Unlimited and Black Adder. I really just wanted to clear up some misconceptions I saw on your forum. Thank you too for allowing me to make my opinions heard (or read, as the case may be).

Greetings - I hope it is not inappropriate for me to post here, and if so, please delete as needed. Rather than let mis-information fester perhaps I could, as a Minister in the West Pacific government, clear a few items up. Clear information is always the best, don't you agree? Many such "graveyard spirals" in relations originate from misunderstandings or a total lack of understanding. Inaccurate and amplified impressions spread like a pox in a besieged city. Your post indicates a desire to better mutual understanding. Other regions including my own of the Meritocracy has established a dialogue and exchanged people so as to learn more of one another. Not surprisingly, new things have been learned and impressions are better grounded in observed reality. I'll be glad to offer assistance as an intermediary in establishing dialogue between The West Pacific and The Pacific if both are willing. Suu Kyi (Ambassador Daedalus)
