I recently watched the film Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock...I really liked it.

I just watched Kill Bill Volume 1
it is the only movie that I have watched once and then watched again right after.
I never did like Quintin (spelling) but he sure knows how to direct (except I don't think blood squirts quite like he made it out to be)

As I recall, he was going for a cartoonish type look. However, I far prefer his other movies.

I recently watched "Big Fish". I thought it was a good movie. It holds interest as the father/son relationship conflict is resolved. In fact, in a turnabout of the usual, the movie is better than the book (of the same title).
It is a typical Tim Burton film (some odd, difficult to explain images) but very entertaining.

I too found "Big Fish" to be an all around enjoyable movie. Just watched it last week. The movie is better than the book in my opinion as well, simply because of the involvement of Tim Burton.
Has anyone seen Troy? I saw it opening night and thought it was well done for a slash and burn film...

I just watched the "Band of Brothers" DVD set. It has just moved into my top 5. I don't think you'll ever see a better depiction of the early days of the Airborne troopers anywhere else.

"BoB" is a great set...I watched them when they first came on HBO but haven't got the DVD collection yet...

You can't state that you "know movies" and then list Private Parts as a great film.

Private Parts is an excellent movie. One of my all time favorites.

LOL...
"Well as a person with a bunch of DVDs I know movies."
...and I thought Private Parts was complete crap.
But that is just my opinion...to each his own.
I watched the 1979 movie Horror of Frankenstein the other night while chatting to a friend and we did a whole MST3K routine to it...very funny movie...

As anyone seen Troy? I was it opening night and thought it was well done for a slash and burn film... Being your typical American teenage rabid fangirl, I adored Troy. Gorgeous half-naked male actors everywhere, what more can you ask for in a movie?? Sean Bean, while not half-naked (more's the pity), stole the show, I thought - but then I would think so, as he's my favorite actor ever. I'll shut up now before someone tries to kill me. And don't worry, Unlimited, I still think you're sexier than Sean Bean.

Just read your reply and noticed how poor my grammar was in the quote so I had to go back and fix it...it has been a long day.

That goes without saying. After all, I am very good looking… well, my mother says so anyway...
And to keep on topic, the obligatory film mention: ‘The Crow’, if you want a superhero, you should definitely make him a member of the living undead. You might not have laser-eye's, but the added decomposition more than makes up for it.

I didn't care for The Crow really, it was okay but, as you mentioned, he doesn't have enough cool superpowers...
