Not as an enemy, not as the Delegate of the South Pacific, or even as a Senatrix of the Meritocracy.
I come here to check things out for myself, to research, and to ask questions.
Nothing more.
My first question, then I suppose would be.
Will you let me be a member of your boards without having a Nation in the Pacific?
*please also note that you will find, I suppose, that Sneak Theif, and I have the same IP addy, that is because at the time she registered here, she was accessing from my home computer, she is no longer in the game. Besides that a friend was letting her use his nation at the time and took it over again and such, anyway back to the main question*

Greetings, Lady Rebels. While I have no official authority to grant answers to the questions you ask, I will abide by NPO standards of civility and welcome you to our region and our boards until such time as our Senate deems fit to reply.
Best Regards, Abysseria

As long as you keep it intelligent and civil, there will not be a problem with you using these boads. By intelligent and civil, I mean we do not want to see a repeat of the outrages on The Meritocracy boards.
On the more welcoming side of it, I am glad you have finally decided to stop your blind insults, based on chinese whispers and terrorist rhetoric, and have come to see the NPO at work for yourself. So, with an open mind, I welcome you LadyRebels, feel free to take part in any part of the forums like any other member here would. I look forward to seeing yout intelligent and civil questions and thoughts on the NPO. Of course, I can not promise the other senators will be as forgiving as me in light of our somewhat turbulant past.

I thank you kindly for the open mindness of your welcome.
I do not intend any such insults to anyone, I only want to put the, as you say, Chinese Whispers, to bed within my mind.
I will see what others have to say on the matter of me being here.
I suppose one of the main reasons for my coming here, finally, is because having lost Andrew and thinking things through, I just don't want anymore hate, misunderstandings, or stupidity within my heart, mind and soul.
Francos Spain, I ask for your forgiveness for any injustices that I did you, in the start of your Delegacy, in all honesty, at first I was firmly against what you were doing, because of the whispers. I do disagree with some of your policies, I will not lie to you about that, but then not all of us are the same in certain matters, but from what I have seen, all you want is peace, and I crave that myself.
Know that after the glitch, that being the last time I made any comments on the Pacific, and such, that I just let things go. It was only after finding out about those telegrams that I became angry again. But I have not started any other moves against you or the people that are by your side.
Certainly I have spoken against what was said, I have fought it out with others. I hope that we can move beyond that calamity, and if not become friends, at the very least understand each other better.
With all due respect for Francos Spain and his People, I will end this here, this haterd, and most importantly, to my mind at least, the misunderstanding.
The Queen of LadyRebels *just wanting a better understanding.*

Greetings Milady Rebels,
This is what I have been pushing for all along. Just take a new survey of things. Form your own conclusions as you must but with fresh and first hand data. Get this data from anyone here but me. The hard questions may be asked but not demanded. For all it's reputation as a region of "savages" this is a culture founded more on politeness with higher regard for one's "face" than on the less "reserved" pattern that we follow. This has its merits IMHO. There are exceptions as you will find, just as our Senate has several controversial characters and these are frowned upon but tolerated, not censored unless it is horribly vulgar. They have disagreements amongst themselves, air these disagreements and interact with the government without reprisal so far as I can tell. But go see this for yourself. What has stunned me since the inception of this project is how so few people are willing to do so.
Taking such a step was impressive and I'm glad to see that you have, my Meritocratic wife and consort. This is more like the person I have come to know.

Ambassdor Daedalus,
You knew the time would come, slowly perhaps, but you knew I would seek my truth in time, as I always do my Meritocratic husband and consort.
As to everyone else here, I have made my public statements on the South Pacific off site Boards, and on the Meritocarcy Boards as well. I have removed from them as I did here, any official capacity that is afforded to be within those regions.
I come here before you, to face what may be the hardest thing I have faced in my NS life.
*a deep breath*
But I do so gladly, if I can end the misunderstanding.
Respectfully, The Queen of LadyRebels *understanding and enlightment sometimes comes at a price, the question to yourself is, are you ready to face that price? my answer is a resounding yes.*

Lady Rebels,
I am glad that you are being open to see what the NPO is all about. I too was a victim of those whispers and rode an emotional wave which came crashing down when I went seeking for the truth. I think it is a mark of good character when a person is willing to examine issues for her/him self rather than listen only to the advice of others who may not provide all of the information to make an adequate judgment. I welcome you here to the forum and I hope that not only you find out how great the NPO is, but you also see how warm the people are in the Pacific. The doors to my nation are open to you.

I am pleased beyond measure to see you coming here yourself, Lady Rebels. I believe this to be a long needed first step towards ameliorating the hostilities between your region and this one, and hope the civility of your action will set an example to all of our 'enemies'.
While there are of course still major unresolved issues regarding our relations, I sincerely hope you find your time spent on these boards both pleasant and rewarding.

I don't, in all honesty, do this as an example. But if some view it that way then so be it.
I do hope that we can resolve those issues, already by reading some on these forums, I am coming to understand a little more than I did before.
I still don't agree with that endorsment policy, but then that is just me, although I understand the reason behind it, by reading Francos Spains answer in that thread.
Tar A thank you ever so much for you words, and I do hope that we will end this with a better understanding of each other.

A cordial and warm welcome to the Pacific, LadyRebels. I am delighted, if pleasantly surprised, to see you here. I indeed share many of your sentiments, and agree that now is the time for an easing of tensions.
To address your first question:
Absolutely. You are here in a diplomatic capacity, and as such need not have a physical presence in the Pacific.
As for Sneak Theif, I understand that you were sharing computers. We would not suspect you of being the same player as Sneak Theif.
I hope that the warm reception given to you by our citizens has already indicated that your presence is welcome and we are pleased to see you here. We shall not judge, nor shall we dwell on the past; we gaze forward, to a new era of peace and friendship.
On the sad note, you have our deepest sympathies over the tragic loss of The Matt- Duck (or Andrew, as those close to him, including yourself, knew him as). It is always a terrible thing when someone suffers such a sudden and unexpected death. We mourn the loss with you, LadyRebels, and hope that the South Pacific can endure without the presence of this strong player in the region, but we also hope that his memory is kept alive by those who knew him and knew of him.
It is very noble, kind-hearted, and open of you to come expressing the shared remorse over the state of our past relations. I would also like to apologize for the damage done due to hostilities waged by us against you and your region. I must express regret for any damage to your reputation from false allegations, levied in the heat of war. Such policies of unrestricted warfare are calamatous for all sides, and it is our sincere hope that we may put an end to this, that we may begin to repair that damage which has been done, and do so together.
We respect your level-headedness in accepting differences in governmental policies, and not letting these hinder a positive relationship due solely to said mere difference. You are correct in that we share a common goal.
I know there had been a "sitzkrieg" of sorts between our regions during the months of November and December. I would like to take personal responsibility for not recalling the nation who came to your region in a diplomatic fashion, when we still had less than diplomatic thoughts on our minds. I want to reassure you that the player who came to you in this fashion was wholly unaware of the actions of The Savage Lands and his collaboration with the NPO at the time, and was doing only what he thought was right, and which indeed probably was the right thing.
I must again thank you deeply, LadyRebels, for taking the initiative of peace. For finding the olive branch in the sea of swords. For thinking of the future, and not dwelling on the past. We wholeheartedly embrace you and your invitation of peace. We hope that through further dialogue, we can continue to begin to understand each other better and to begin to recognize that what is good for one of us is good for both of us. The NPO is willing to relinquish all hostile actions and feelings toward the South Pacific, if such could be mutually agreed upon.
You have our gratitude, LadyRebels, for coming to us on this forum and opening these discussions. I hope that they lead in the direction both sides undoubtedly wish them to.
Eager for the long overdue burying of hatchets, -Francos Spain

I thank you Francos Spain for you kind words, and your thoughts on the loss in the South Pacific.
*let's out pent up breath*
I was worried as to how you would recieve me here on your own boards, and now that it is done, let the past be the past, between us.
Know that Black Adder was and is always welcome to come back to the South Pacific Boards, he was never baned, but for the most viewable reasons, Savage Lands Reloaded was baned from the SP boards by me.
This is the last post that I will do with anything to do with the past on these forums. Know that I am still talking this over with others and sometimes I have to mention it, but to me it is done.
Who knows, this should make for a few laughs, maybe we can teach each other something.
As to the South Pacific and the Pacific ending hostilities, I will certainly discuss this with them, as I said before I came here on my own, but know that I hold no "hatred" or whatever you wish to deem it, against anyone here.
Respectfully, The Queen of LadyRebels

And in so doing, Francos Spain has opened the wellspring of Pacific love and compassion, showering the citizens of our magnificent realm with countless blessings and opportunities.
Hail and well met, Lady Rebels! May your time here be fruitful and reflect the glory that is our two regions as we struggle anew to find shared common ground unmarked by the scars of war, bitterness, and lies.
Yours in humble appreciation,

Respectfully, The Queen of LadyRebels Wow, this is pretty amazing. I humbly suggest we capitalize on the momentum of this historic reconciliation, and begin a diplomatic cultural exchange, much like what is now happening between the NPO and The Meritocracy. In this way, perhaps, LadyRebels can encourage others in her region to follow in her bold footsteps towards the path of peace and join us here where we can all learn a little more about each other. Likewise, we can send diplomats down south and see what happens. This suggestion has been brought to you by the letter 'z'.

Anyone is more than welcome to do just that, just know that some will come out strong against such a move. But others will not, I can and certainly will ask that they at the very least, let them get to know you, and somethings you find there can be shocking to say the least. Don't say anything, but I hear that the Crazy Delegate sometimes streaks through the streams and such ;D But you did not hear that from me
