greetings, maybe you could tell us a little more about maybe you could tell us what you've been doing for the past 1 1/2 years. Thank you both for the grretings. Well my 1.5 years in nationstates has been a quite bumpy and diverse time as anybody in the game. Currently I am a Senator in the Meritocracy(nation-Evans) and in the past have been a prominent delegate of 000(nation-Nazi Europe) and one of the biggest region crashers ever(nation-Louldamin). Nobody has been through the system more then me. Ive been meaning to check out the NPO for a long time mainly becaause I am quite amazed on how the NPO took control and has held onto the Pacific for as long as it has with the odds it has been up against. I can respect that regardless on how it is done.(that comment is probably going to anger some Meritocratic Senators that scope this board out) So I have some time now and i figured hey why not take a look see around the NPO. I am here on my own and not on behalf of the Meritocracy. Im curious thats all. The nation name YellowSubmarine comes from of vcourse the Beatles song which rocks your socks off.

I wouldn't have decribed Yellow Submarine as one of their greater moments myself, but welcome all the same.
I'm sure you will find us much as our other esteemed Meritocratic visitors have found us, and not as the distant Meritocratic observors have painted us.

I never formed an opinion 100% one way or 100% the other way about the NPO mainly because I never looked into it and the specifics. Thats what I am doing now-looking into the NPO to see what it is about.
So far I'd have to say the NPO gets a bad wrap by everyone. I was met with kindness and made to feel like I was at home. I think I may just stay here for a while if this keeps up.
Funny thing is I am listening to "Yellow Submarine" right now...........wait just ended next song is.........."Penny Lane"
My favorite Beatles song is "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds".

Mine is Revolution from the White Album. Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey is pretty good too.

The world is strange, eh Comrade Evans Submarine?
I feel you should be well-advised to be careful in how polite and sociable you appear to be on this forum, lest certain of your younger countrymen decide you have become unfaithful their cause.
"For the Benefit of Mr. Kite" is a very flowing and good song, and I would agree with you on "Lucy" because it is an excellent song; my favorite part is when they the band shout out in the chorus. At the moment I think that "Come Together" is Comrade Mammothistan's favorite Beatles song.

A heartfelt welcome to our halls, YellowSubmarine. As such an experienced and well-rounded player, we are flattered to know that your impression of us thus far has been fond. You have been around almost as long as NS has existed and you have prestigious identities the world over, but as far as I'm concerned, you (as YellowSubmarine) are a citizen of the Pacific and I encourage you to make yourself at home and not to hesitate to participate in any of our programs. Glad to have you aboard... er, no pun intended.

The world is strange, eh Comrade Evans Submarine? I feel you should be well-advised to be careful in how polite and sociable you appear to be on this forum, lest certain of your younger countrymen decide you have become unfaithful their cause. The world is very strange. I am aware that my being here will get some people nervous back in the Senate but I think that they were drilled with the fact the NPO is evil and have not seen anything to the contrary. I have seen to the contrary and am not afraid to say so. When I came to this region I didn't get bombarded with endorsement swapping telegrams(which even with non-UN nations does happen), didn't get a "Well your in the Meritocracy so piss off" type of responce, and I didn't get the sense of tyranny that people scream about. If somebody asks me what I think of the NPO I think my answer in one sentence would be they are the most misunderstood organization I have ever seen. Because you use unknown talents/devices people are afraid of that. I think because you have a somewhat strict civil code to ensure your government people fear that. It's a shame too because obviously you have something to share with the world its just that they dont give you much of a chance. There are some within the Meritocracy that are willing to give the NPO a chance and there are some who are not. The one thing that kept my views open about the NPO was a while ago I moved my powerhouse natio Louldamin in the Pacific to see where it stacked up in the UN reports(it was owning The West Pacific in a bunch of them) and I think it was for basket weaving I got 7th or 9th and I recieved a congratulations telegram from Francos Spain. I apreciated that. Anywho I thank Francos for his welcolme and do intend to participate but dont get any ideas The Meritocracy is my home and unless I am wrong I dont think the NPO would grant Senator status to a Senator of the Meritocracy.

Just a thought...The Meritocracy established an embassy with the NPO, and you say that members of the senate "have it drilled into their heads that the NPO is evil." So...some senators are for the NPO, and others against.
What percentage of the senators are for the NPO?(ballpark figure)

What percentage of the senators are for the NPO?(ballpark figure) Come on now I dont really know mainly because not everybody has stated thier opnion one way or the other. Yes there is an embassy from the Meritocracy here but the main Ambassador from the Senate to the NPO Deadalus(probably know him by another name here) has left the Senate. I honestly don't know what will become of our embassy here at this moment. If I had to say something in responce to your question it would be.......there are a lot less Senators that are not anti-NPO then anti-NPO Senators but you must remember there are many foriegn ties within the Senate with regions/groups that havent had a stellar history with the NPO.

Welcome Sgt Pepper. Personally I'm not that big a fan but such is what makes the world so diverse.
I'm rather disappointed with some of your contemporaries in the Met with their attitudes towards the NPO and those who draw similarities. I was rather dismayed at the puerile nonsense which was directed at Daedalus (Suu Kyi) for his attempts here and there. Crazy Girl, it was pathetic and unforgiveable for you and your cronies to muck rake like that. You have brought dishonour to the Met and reduced it to another pathetic sham much like whatever else the Pacific Army touches. I hope this message makes it back to the Met very loud and clear. Your strength used to be knowledge and understanding not condemnation and fearmongering. As an organization you are seriously close to being a foot note and not something esteemed.
Submarine, I've known your various incarnations and respect your longevity. I hope your stay here is a pleasant one. Welcome.

The world is very strange Comrade. We are more welcoming of others than the Met is these days and if one has demonstrated enough merit, it would be very possible to become a Senator here. The problem is the Met would never grant Senator status to a Senator of the Pacific.
