Tragedy in Maryland www.flowers-gifts-n-things.com/product-pictures/8837.jpg [/img] Franco Spain, Poskrebyshev to Leave Nationstates Maryland, Real Life: Disaster has struck the Pacific, as its leader and founder, Francos Spain, has suffered a catastrophic tragedy. As such, he will be unable to continue his nationstates career. Real life friend, Poskrebyshev, has decided to retire out of respect for Franco. He has also asked that the details surrounding the circumstances of Franco’s departure be kept secret. This is a tragic day for all Pacificans as we mourn the lost of two great leaders, thinkers, poets, and heroes. Despite the lost of our leaders, their legacy, the New Pacific Order, shall go on. The remaining senate has decided that Unlimited will succeed Poskrebyshev as delegate, and Black Adder will be appointed to Senator. The senate would like to thank all of you for your months of service, and we ask that your thoughts and prayers be with both of these fine individuals.

Respects to both of them.
To FS,
We will talk again sometime, don't worry. Good times and I will never regret being your friend. Now you must go. Peace, Comrade.

Fine players both of them
It is too bad to see players go because of RL things, but we can not stop them.

I know I almost left a few times because of RL concerns.
I think the Pacific should have a month of mourning the loss of two of our great visionaries. I have to say that I am absolutely sadden by this moment.
As such, I call on all members of the forum to be alert. I am positive that foreign terrorists will attempt to seize this as some moment they think they can crush us. I beg to differ. The NPO has been, and always shall be about all of us in this revolution. Let us never fray from the ideals that Franco and Poskrebyshev gave us. I think that they would certainly expect us to continue the ever-burgeoning of the NPO.
All Hail Francos Spain, the eternal emperor of the Pacific! All Hail Poskrebyshev, the protector of our ideals and lives!

No one can deny that Francos and Posk were skilled players.
My prayers and regards to Francos and those close to him; I'm no stranger to tragedy, and hope that everyone sees this retirement as what it is, real life, which is infinitely and unquestionably more important than in-game politics.
A fond farewell to the players behind Francos Spain and Poskrebyshev, may you find yourselves in greener pastures.

Franco was a friend and Poskrebyshev my guide. I would rather my appointment come with better news but life is as such.
We will continue on Comrades. The Pacific will always be the NPO and the NPO will always be Franco and Poskrebyshev and Mussolandia and Abysseria and all the other Comrades we've seen drift away and stay.
I would rather be here with you all as a water boy then Head of the mightiest Kingdom. I'm glad I had the opportunity to serve El Caudillo and Poskrebyshev. They will always be in that special place in my heart reserved for Brothers in Arms.

It is always hard when you lose great players, the loss is magnified when the reasons where beyond their control.
I hope for the best for "Francos Spain" and "Poskrebyshev"; they’ve defined the entire game since their ascent to power nearly a year ago. It is indeed an end of an era.

My thoughts go out to both of them. Regardless of one's feelings about this petty little game we play, "nationstates", the greater game of life is the one we care about, and may the people behind these players go with only our best thoughts.

Indeed, NationStates is losing two of its best players today in Francos Spain and Poskrebyshev.
I, however, feel like I'm losing a friend in Franco. God bless you and take care, friend.

I would like to wish only the best to the player behind Franco and would like to add that I hope things work out ok for the future.
I also wish only good luck for the future to the player behind Poskrebyshev.
May the fates be kind to both of these people.

We are sad to see two fine players leave the game.
We are saddened further that RL tragedy led to that departure.
Though we knew them but briefly, they will both be missed.
Hail Franco!
Hail Poskrebyshev!
Hail the NPO!

Dang it guys... this is a really horrible event. If nothing else these guys were great players that really rocked the boat, and my best wishes go out to both of them.
Congrats BlackAdder, I'm sure you'll do excellently as a Senator. And the same goes to Unlimited, as the new big man in the Pacific, I'm sure he will re-invigorate the Pacific and bring about the truly great reforms that Francos and Posk wanted.
This also forces me to reconsider some older opinions... in light of these events I'm going to spend a good while in cogitation land.
Edit: After that, my support lies firmly with the NPO. I cannot condone what is in essence a "Defender Invasion" led by so many supposedly virulant anti-invaders. So, good luck once again to Unlimited!
Which raises another point, Francos controls the admin account on this forum... what's going to happen with that?
