And? If that's true, what does that tell you about how he'd run the Pacific?

If Savage ran the Pacific, based on what I know about him, we'd be better off with Corinthe. What a sobering and scary thought.

Is all moot anyway. Our enemies have all the organizational abilities of a herd of cats and the radio silence of the backup van in a Van Halen roadie convoy.

mmm he did run the Pacific for a while and everyone yelled at him for various bannings and no one was really happy, funny what you find out when you read old threads on the old pacific forum But his RP character has about as much to do with how he would use the delegate seat as Franco's "Iron Fist Socialists" category has to do with his delegacy. Which is to say, not much.

I suppose it just depends on how you play the game.
All I'm saying is, Savage, what do you really want the delegacy for?

Power. It's no secret that toppling Francos and the NPO would be the most dramatic and significant event in NS's brief history. It's all about power not ideology for him.
That's why even if he takes it, they wouldn't be able to hold it.

I thought this might be of interest here. The following tgram is cirrculating through the West Pacific - he currently has about 40 endorsements;
With the current trouble in that region (a relatively young nation is about to unseat Norion) it could be the SLR might be thinking of taking that delegate seat himself (but that is just a supposition).

Well, it's not surprising, is it? We already know it's all about the power with him.

And I say good riddance! He can stay in the West Pacific and leave us alone! (Not like that's actually gonna happen)

No, that won't happen His national motto has something to do with the tomb of facism is in Madrid - so he read about the Spanish Civil War. Apparently he made the announcement on their website that he is officially running for office. From the regional board it didn't look too well recieved, but he does have over a hundred endorsements.

He does have a large following, that's no surprise!

It's just endorsement swapping... Erlenav did it too... I could do it if I wanted. No biggie... and don't be fooled... he certainly isn't going to leave us alone.

He does have a large following, that's no surprise! Duh, thats not the concern. Why have all the RFP, PA, SNAFU regions/groups failed to actually do anything? They're run by committees, each with their own idea on what to do and when it gets down to, can't agree on anything. Not to mention that it takes an effort by people not directly involved in the committee (i.e. move to a new region, listen to these gasbags boast, etc.) for them to get any number of supporters. Its no surprise that doesn't happen. So what happens of SLR gets the West Pacific Delegate seat - it becomes one guy in charge; a significant block has been removed. The 'effort' block and 'gasbag' block are still there, but he might be able to compensate for that (maybe by ejecting any rivals in the WP, leaving him free to gather a UN member force). And he is still, with that motto, obsessed with the Pacific. If that Delegate is as weak as he looks, SLR should be in by the middle of next month; by Feb he is in the Pacific (just call me Nostradumbass)

Savage Lands may be able to gain delegacy in the West Pacific because he is relatively unknown. People there don't know his politics, his obsession with power or his poor record at delegacy.
However, these things are well known in the pacific, thus he will never be able to gain enough support to overthrow such a successful, well organised and popular government such as the NPO. We have seen this time and time again as his attacks have continually failed.
