Well, it looks like he failed. This region is in as big of a mess as any I've ever seen. IMHO, FF, the emotional morass is settling down. Time heals all wounds and all that ... While there are still the everpresent old regime spammers, even they are fewer and farther between. You could argue they have all been ejected but that would be dishonest and untrue---many have re-entered the region under new national identities. The truth is... most players don't care (after a while). I have watched the boards for several nights in a row and I see the negative ads subsiding. Personally, I disagree with the scores of ejections. But if it were illegal in a game sense, the mods would have acted against Great Bight. Perhaps it seems "unfair" but so does RL sometimes. And you could argue ... *the mods... they are the ones who screwed this up! ...* And you would be correct again. So ... make lemonade! (Don't you just love this syruppy cliches?) The mods...Great Bight... Francos Spain... take your pick for blame. It won't change anything. A thought has occurred to me that the real frustration may not be the mods, GB, or FS's move to the SP. Perhaps everone is anxious (feeling anxiety) over FS's lack of action while on holiday. As Hollywood is so wont to do... we hear the scary music building... we know the character on the screen is expendable and about to fulfill their movie contractual obligation... we are expecting it...expecting it...expecting it...expecting it... DA#N! Where is the Monster? It should have been here by now! expecting it...expecting it... So let's recap this post, shall we? GB has been in place long enough for NS life to move on and Francos's inactivity has p1$$ed everyone off. The music climaxed but the monster still hasn't appeared. Maybe this really isn't a horror flick after all.

Francos has apparently moved again!
EDIT: (In response to Pierconium) - My apologies, it was not intended to be. I had a rather interesting/bad night in general so I was kind of out of it.

That, sir, is in poor taste.

Francos has apparently moved again! Yes, I wonder how he's liking it over there in the RR? ;D He's sent enough people over there. It's about time he found out what the other side of the fence looks like.

Ugh, that's what gets me the most about defender types. Even though they eventually seem to get everything they want, except in the notable case of the Pacific, they're always gloating and claiming that they're better than everyone else. At least the NPO has enough class to keep what gloating they do quiet and to a minimum.

Interestingly enough its come to my attention that apparently running multies wasn't bold enough flexing of the rules but a site admin approved Exiles like Free4All "Allowing control" of UN exile nations donated for the invasion last night.
Apparently rules are only for the ones who oppose. Enjoy your victory, it was cheap, illegal and only further shows the corruption.

Perhaps you could explain how we used multis? Because by my knowledge, we did not use multis at all This has been a completely legal liberation.

On a daily basis exiles were being wiped out for UN violations.
There is an investigation ongoing currently into the goings on last night with Moderation. I am interested to see what comes of it.

by my knowledge, none of the participants in this invasion have been kicked out the UN. But indeed, we shall see what moderation decides

I'd also like to know what the mods find...that sounds completely unfair.

One nation attempted an invasion with something like 100 nations once against the Pacific. Just goes to show how desperate the terrorists will go to defeat their enemies.

I believe that nation was a good friend of the current ADN Sect. of Defense.

Well, if it was the use of mults, then those players will get booted from the UN. The fact that GB is out of the region cannot be changed, however unfair that might be. Sometimes even RL is like that.
I do hope that FS isn't too put out when he comes back from vacation to find out how he has been served. I mean, really! He thinks he leaves his plans, excuse me, his hopes at pan-Pacific stablity in good hands and THIS happens. I'd hate to be part of this government right now...
Then again, maybe it was bad intel - that seems the popular excuse these days : )
