As with anyone who walks into a room mid conversation will know, getting a grasp of what is being talked about (especially when you don't know anyone) can be quite daunting. So, I would appreciate it if someone could give me a short summary of the recent history of the Pacific Region (particularly the rise of Franco, the revolution and New Order). I have trawled through several threads in this forum, however most are dealing with what is happening now and not how the region came to its current state. Thankyou

Like the festive avatar. Extremely condensed version. Theodec was delegate. Franco gained the necessary endorsements, Theodec was much displeased he'd lost the seat and made a leadership run at Franco. Franco defended his position and exiled Theodec. Then everyone and their dog angry at the shake up of the old boys club made a run at Franco, were promptly exiled and have been a constant irritation in our side ever since. Since the dawn of the NPO the boards have reflected a higher degree of intelligence and a real committment to be here. The downside is we put up with a non stop diatribe of abuse because Franco is a tyrant. Show me one who isn't in this game? They would've been stomped out of existance by griefers, the RRA or the ACC by now if they hadn't.

Good shot. There is quite a big difference between Star Trek and Nationstates. Stick to Spock and leave us alone.
