Greetings nations. As you may have seen in this thread, the Pacific now has a nation to represent the region as a whole: The People's Republic of The New Pacific OrderIn order to keep this puppet a reflection of all Pacific nations, I would like to offer everyone a chance to give their opinions on how this nation should be molded. If you have any thoughts or wishes as to what the customizable features of the nation should be (such as the flag, national title, motto, animal, etc.), post them here! The current settings of the nation were decided in a brief discussion in the Pacific IRC chat, but they are not final and may be changed at the wish of the region. I'm also considering a daily forum poll to discuss and decide on how this nation should answer its issues. At the very least, it would give us an opportunity to spam up our post counts  . Thoughts? |

Some thoughts: Why not periodically rotate the flag to represent the propaganda pieces created by member nations? That would give us a fresh look every now and then.
The daily poll is a fantastic idea. Over time the nation will be molded to the will of the people.

Everybody satisfied with the current title, motto, currency, and animal then?
And I do like that idea, Abysseria. I'll do this every now and then if I'm able to resize the pictures to -6k while still keeping them readable.
Also, the first issue poll of the NPO nation is currently up. Please cast you vote!

Dammit, I want input! I find it hard to believe that the first random things I threw down when I created the nation are ideal for it... (Other than Tar A's "Tin of Spam" suggestion, of course)

Well, I think "The People's Republic" would be a bit more fitting. Or does that imply Communism?
For the motto, something along the lines of "Leading the Pacific forward into the Future" or "Onward Pacificans". Something about going on to even greater times.
Don't know about the animal. We could make it the CG Clone and make it go extinct.

How about "Strenght, Peace, Prosperity" which are the central tennents of the NPO. I also beleve that we should be the "People's Republic" because we are a true republic.

We could make it the CG Clone and make it go extinct. Savage had suggested in the chatroom (*cough shameless plug cough*) our animal be "the Crazy girl," but it was brought up that having a person or a group of people as a national animal is illegal, and a nation name or player might be illegal as well. At any rate, you can bet our enemies'll grab any excuse they can to report us. Although that does sound really very halarious, letting it go extinct |

I'd go for that motto and title, too. Seems to fit the precedent we're setting with the propaganda and symbols threads.

Righteo, the national title and motto have been altered. (I've also changed my original post in this thread to reflect the new title.) Thanks for the suggestions.
Also, I did try to resize a few of the propaganda pictures, but unfortunately, I couldn't get them under 6k without destroying them.
