After looking at the nation, I felt this might violate 2003 and possibly 1008 as well. They are not part of our region which is why I'm not sure about the 1008 violation but nobody likes spam inside or outside our region.

Unfortunately, recruitment telegrams are alllowed by the moderators, obnoxious and annoying as said messages are. There are some restrictions as far as I know, check the "Telegram Spam" Thread in the pacific forum, I think it has details on what is and isn't allowed.
I'd imagine even if it were in our region, it would not be in violation of 1008, as The Sex Pistols were a British punk-rock band, from the seventies.

Yep, the Sex Pistols were awesome. I still play my "Never the Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols" CD all of the time!

Remember, the without the sex pistols, we never would have had new wave and the 80's. Sex Pistols were so dominate that when they left, only Los Angeles record companies existed with any institutional memory or "creativity" and proceded to throw endless one-hit wonders with really bad hair at us verbatum until rock, grunge, alternative and punk came and saved the day.

I apologize for neglecting this thread for the last several weeks. I attempted to get through it a while ago, then got a little put off after drudging through huge lists and only finding that 10-15% of the nations reported were actually in violation of rule 1008 of the Civil Code. I'd just like to clarify what is usually okay as far as violation of this section goes:
Marijuana references Nazi nations (unless exceedingly derogatory) Random numbers (since though random to us, they could have a significance to the player, i.e. phone number, address, etc.[unless other national aspects indicate the numbers are purely random]) Random letters for motto/currency (but not nation name) Moderate profanity in motto (unless sexual/otherwise grotesque or insulting)
That said, a considerable portion of the nations listed throughout last month are either no longer in existence or are no longer within the Pacific. However, since it was up to me to check these earlier, but now having no way of checking, I'm just going to give credit for nations reported for such instances. Accordingly, the following nations have earned Legion status:
Erratika Mussolandia (has 10+ including nations listed on this thread as well as nations reported to me directly, but not listed here) Ubel Hat Entfesselt (same as Mussolandia) Dark Citadel Aleisyr Pierconium Jennivier
(Also Jennivier, I did not have a problem with these nations: J-Tizzle, Jacobzcoool, Janus Polyglop, Jehosefat, Jew Live Crew, JIGGLE JIGGLE, Jimbob132004, Jillhillville, Jimmy Macdougal, Jkz, Johannasbergerlandoe, Joshistan666, Jorgen-Jorgen)
Additionally, Warrior Thorin has become the NPO's third Centurion. I would like to thank all nations contributing to this thread for their tireless work, as well as offer my congratulations to those achieving Legion/Centurion status. I apologize once more for falling behind in this thread.
One last thing: is it necessary to bring the issue of plurality between "Legion" and "Centurion" into consistency (i.e. altering the former to "Legionnaire" or the latter to something else plural) or shall we leave it the way it is? The inconsistency has been irking me a bit.

A clarifacation on random number reporting: I only report random number nations who alson have random mottos, animals, and currencies. Should I continue this practice, or cease reporting them?

The inconsistency has been irking me a bit. My Lord, my personal opinion is that my nation has over 800 million members, therefore each member of my nation would be a Legionnaire, therefore it would be appropriate to announce my nation as a Legion for the NPO.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. Yes, if the other player-created fields make it obvious that the nation is just a trash-puppet, it is prosecutable. My Lord, my personal opinion is that my nation has over 800 million members, therefore each member of my nation would be a Legionnaire, therefore it would be appropriate to announce my nation as a Legion for the NPO. It's not the fact that "Legion" is plural that's the problem, it's just the inconsistency with "Centurion," which is singular. Maybe I'm just being picky.
