I think that we need some more Goverment branches. I understand that are system is based on the old Roman Empire but if I am not mistaken even they had more then just an emperor and some senators. I am not disagreing with are goverment sysytem so I dont want any body to get that idea. If there was to be a new branch of goverment it would be under the controll of the delegate and the senators, but the new goverment branch would have certain responsibilities. The new branch can help deal with law and order, security, and public affairs. This is just an Idea.

Currently, each senator is head of a particular department in the government. If a senator needed help with his or her duties, I suppose that he or she could create a department underneath them. Poskrebyshev is in charge of espionage, while Mammothistan is chief of security. Should they need help, I’m sure they would be capable of creating the necessary infrastructure.

You all make exelent points but another thing is it would help nations get involved. It would also help with little thing's that the senators are to buisy to do. Think of it as making things easier for the senators.

I understand that perspective, but don't you feel the senators are the best judges as to whether or not they need help? If they needed it, I'm sure they would ask for it.

For instance The Idea of Official Greeters is a small step into a new branch of goverment. Or at least in a sense. For Instance a Council. Except it would be for the people of the Pacific. If someone was to be ejected for....lets say treason and the council thought other wise then if they could get enough votes from council members then the ejection would be postponed allowing for the nation to get its say. Unless the nation had about 50 endorsements, lol.

Honestly, I think the current form of government has been working quite well. In fact, many other regions are reaching out to the NPO (i.e., the South Pacific). I don't know that making any changes like this would serve the government well. As for getting more involvement, nations can always help the senate by watching out for violators of the Civil Code...it's kind of like community policing in the sense that we are all watching our community (the pacific) to maintain order and peace. I think that is the best way for all of us to remain active and support our government.

I am not saying that are current goverment system is bad but there is always room for improvment. And as I was saying in my last post not all people are invaders. Some are just noobs that havnt read the civil code. Let's use LittleFoots as an example, I dont think that he was an invader. I dont think that an invader would have a flag, name, and motto like that.

The World Fact Book entry does make reference to all those folks need to know. If we do our civic duty we should be welcoming folks anyway.
I just don't see the need for more administration if we all act civily.
