Kind of like those Palmetto bugs in Florida? I only bump this to say there is no such thing as a palmetto bug. They are just cockroaches, and the Floridians here usually call the American roaches palmetto bugs. Yeah, I know this because not only did I work in pest control, my father raised american and german roaches when I was a child for some sort of study. Nothing like bringing your elementary school aged friends home to aquariums of roaches. This hissing ones are pretty neat, like big roly-poly's (or pill bugs, or whatever you call them in your area )
