I'd like to point out that it's still possible, in my mind, that Franco and Nur are the same person ;D (remember they were gone for the same amount of time during Nur's 'wedding'?) But then, I've always had a bent for the conspiracy theory mindset. (Has anyone ever seen the two of them in the same 'room'? Just what I thought.) But just in case my imagination is getting the better of me, good luck to you Nur. The game is losing a good player. You know, the NPO has had that problem since it was created. People seem to think that Francos, Posk, Savage and I are all the same person to this day, in fact. I think it's hilarious that they find it so hard to believe that someone that they hate so much could possibly have real allies.

There is also still a handful of players which is convinced I'm a mod. I enjoy hearing the theories, though.

Hahahahaa! Oh yeah, Francos is the one standing on the far left!
I actually know who all those people are though, so never mind. And speaking of book tours, I got Jennifer Government today for my birthday. It was wonderful, I couldn't put it down.

Most likely to late but I will say it anyway.
Savage Lands,
I hope with all my heart that you return safe and sound. I also hope that you stay safe. Take care of yourself and your family.
Respectfully, The Queen of LadyRebels

Savage, I found the way you played here disturbing. Then again I'm of a different mindset and many an accusatory finger has been pointed at me. Bygones.
I assume if you re enlisted and you're shipping out you mean the mid East. If that's so watch your ass, I was over there for the first matchup and lost most of my unit. Never underestimate anything. Mercy has a funny way of repaying one at opportune times so don't be afraid of dispensing it. God's speed.

11 men killed out of 16 in a completely FUBAR'd long range Recon isn't a joking fucking matter. I'll let it go.

I deserve no mercy whatsoever for that utterly tasteless joke. I apologize for making light of what was surely an utterly horrible experience.

LN, I have to say that your comment was a bit disturbing and quite tasteless. It's bad enough to be in a unit and lose one soldier; I cannot fathom the feeling that Black Adder has had to overcome after such a loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with those who died, Black Adder.
LN, I realize that you may not have ever experienced such a tragedy, but imagine training and working for a long period of time with people you absolutely trust with your life, and they are suddenly killed when you are on a mission for your country. I think, then, you might understand the error of your comment.

Bygones Nuns. Lets just drop it. Expect Mercy, its a wonderful thing. I'm going to lie low for a bit. I have thoroughly embarrassed myself and I feel like an idiot. Thanks Black Adder for your mercy and I will drop it. Sorry once again to you and to the rest of the board. I've learned the hard way that it's too easy to forget the real people on the other side of the computer screen.

The job of fighting true forces of evil in an often hostile land far from loved ones and home is one that is easy to overlook in our little day to day lives. That children and families must live like that and suffer daily is something easily lost in the political rhetoric.
However it is frequently remembered by many when we see the news and the images, both good and bad. To all of you who served in that capacity a profound "Thank you" and may we all live in a manner that promotes mercy for as Adder states: It does have a way of returning.
For Adder, there are no words for your loss and theirs, only that there is some empathy out here for the experience you had and mercy indeed goes far to salve the soul. How you have managed to handle it speaks very well of the spirit behind the man that is you.
**Edited to include the original well wishes before reading the thread **
Savage Lands, (Sorry, I simply do not know you any other way) consider the compliment posted above to those that serve their country to be directed towards you. While I wanted to get my fingers around your in-character throat :-) I certainly hope and pray that you will be real-life safe and make your destination a better place for your having been there.
Take care and Godspeed to you.
