Personally, I think soccer is a pussies game and Am Football is a good game pussified by all the armour. Try playing hurling or gaelic football. Hurling is awesome! They have a league here in Milwaukee.

Well, it was a good game, a lot better than everyone thought it would be. The ending was pretty good to, except for that field goal . After missing those others, the bloody kicker gets it through . It was still an otherwise-good game though. BTW: The government of Brezhnev is starting a new program to pass out Adam Vinatieri voodoo-dolls to its citizens. I was getting food and eating during the halftime show, so I missed all that. The ads were pretty good too. The Chevy one with the kids with the soap in their mouths hit me as very funny. The Lay's ad with the old people was pretty good too. The AOL high speed ad was funny, though they used the same idea for all of them and it got a bit old after the first time or two. The 7-Up slam dunk contest was good. I liked the Pepsi one with the bears, and the young Jimi Hendrix one too. The Staples ad was funny too at the end, the rest was kind of funny too. As for the Budweiser ads, I liked the one with the donkey best, and the horse and candle comes in at a close second. The ref ad is third, though it was pretty funny, maybe I'll call it at second and a halfth. After that I put the dogs fetching Budweiser, or maybe the lipstick one; I liked the lizard flying off the rock on that one. Then comes the talking monkey one; I dunno, I just didn't really like that one that much. I know there were two more, but I wasn't paying attention much during those, so I won't rank them. BTW: You can watch them on Budweiser's website, though you have to be 21 to enter the site because it's alchohol-related. Of course they have no way of knowing if you put your real age down, so you could make it up. Not that I endorse condone such behavior (just have to make sure ).

I think there were some good impact commercials as well - from both Cadillac and Ford

I had a lot of studying to do that I'd put off till Sunday evening, so I missed halftime and all the commercials for it. The game itself, though, was excellent. The Patriots had the clearly superior team, but the Panthers gave them an unexpected (for me at least) run for their money. I was really bored at first and contemplating leaving it all together, but it turned out to be a fantastic game. And I'm sure I didn't expect the kicker to make it, not with his record - overtime would've been exciting.
