The ADN really used that sort of tactic without all of the mods' agreement?
Are you sure violet didn't approve the tactic?

No, and no.
Violet did approve of the tactics, 100%.

BTW, just so it's recorded publicly somewhere (because I know if I raise it on the ADN site it'll be deleted fast), but I caught EuroSoviets deleting threads. He made a post in a thread slamming a diplomat, and effectively saying he knew nothing about a World War II topic. Well, that topic is a pasion of mine, and ES was sooooo wrong. I posted sources proving he was wrong in reply to ES, and within minutes the whole thread was deleted. Someone didn't like being proven wrong it appears! ES was the only Mod online at the time, so it's pretty obvious who it was!

No, and no. Violet did approve of the tactics, 100%. Not sure why this is still being discussed here but anyway... [violet] did approve the plan before it was carried out. After the fact several Mods did question the tactic. It was then decided that since [violet] couldn't have been wrong then the best way to solve the problem without acknowledging a mistake was made was to change game code so that it could not be repeated. So, it was approved and it was used successfully. Then the creators decided it should be illegal but since they approved it and couldn't pull back on that without major backlash, they just made it impossible to do again in the future. So technically, it is still an approved method of invasion, but realistically it is illegal because it is impossible. Make sense?
