Sarcasm. As has been stated before the North Pacific has been very fixated against us for a year now. Perhaps had they not been so aggressive we would not have answered ALSO's call for assistance. This sentiment they are espousing in that thread is nothing new. I'm surprised that no one else outside the Pacific has noticed it until now but then again we are filthy NPO bastards so its no surprise that all is fair against us. That's what angers me the most, the hypocrisy and the mindless zealots that refuse to let go. Hmm...well, first, I haven't been around for a year, and secondly, I haven't looked. But anyway, it angered me enought to do something grandiose and pointless. See my new embassy (for the ALoK) for details. |

I must say I have to condemn these bitter and uncalled for comments by this Two Slit Experiment. It is not your great regions fault he is no longer the dictator of the North Pacific.

I don't know why, but there was a time when I was a n00b that I thought TwoSlit was okay. Yet, as time has gone on I have seen what he is. He is a liar and deceiver. If he does not like you, he makes up lies about you. He did that recently to my puppet, Myrdinn, falsely accusing him of supporting an invasion of the SP many months ago. TRC set up an embassy in the NP and TwoSlit used it as a means to taint that region's goal. He even made the statement that he would not rest until the NPO is gone.

I don't remember that, about Mydrinn, but then I get so much BS all the time that it gets hard to find out anything.
Usually I just go straight to the souce, or the one that they claim is doing it, and ask.
If they lie about it, we find out and it is dealt with, if they don't lie, we tend to keep records, and then it is dealt with in a different way.
He wants to harm TRC? oh we will have to see about that.

He wants to harm the NPO, but I guess he wanted to taint Myrdinn because of my affiliation with the NPO. I called him out on it and threatened to shut down the embassy there. Sir Robert took over and this have been quiet since. I might venture back in there one day just to get under TwoSlits' skin...nah, I think I'll just it go. I have better things to do...especially in a certain hot tub...

Let's not all jump down the North Pacific's throat, while they are our enemy, many of them were quite respectful in reguards to the situation, however there were some who, with their hateful speach made it seem like they were all utterly calous and hateful. Twoslit for instance, I would never wish anything ill of him for his gameplay, yet he considers becoming the delegate of a region and forming an orderly goverment equivical to mass murder! Sydia, while callous as well doesn't even approach that. There were of course, a couple more with equally callous comments.
But there were others whom were respectful. Kudos Wilkshire, Insane Power, Ananke, and others for having honor and in spite of the fact we are enemies, respecting our loss, and not behaving like a pack of sharks when blood is in the water.
Of course, while they are wrong, those who are willing to look past our conflict and be honorable are worthy of respect, no matter which side they are on.

I'm really at a loss for words. I've never liked blurring NS with RL but in some cases, such as this, it is unavoidable - and the real lives and real feelings of people take precident. Reading some of those comments makes me wince - I'm embarrased for them.
I hadn't seen that exact thread but this is the sort of thing you turn your eyes from - try to forget what you saw it but don't forget who said it, if you follow me...

I think I need to edit my Sig a bit and include this in it,
but a saying that I use in RL and now it seems to be in VL as well,

Sometimes keeping things KISS(keep it simple stupid) is the best way to avoid having too many run ins with people that can't do any part of the following.

Some people take this game far too seriously. reading through the thread tho, its obvious a lot of poeple there do have a sense of proportion about the whole thing, and aren't posting such vile rubbish as twoslit.

Interesting double standard. "The Pacific does not belong to the NPO it belongs to players new to the game." Along the same line of logic the North Pacific does not belong to Two Slit's form of government either it should belong to new players as well. Height of arrogance to say mine is better than yours.
