The people of the Pacific have been oppressed greatly by the corrupt dictatorship of Francos Spain. This man has held an iron grip on the delegacy. This must end now. People of the Pacific, I urge you to reject the rule Francos Spain and become a democracy once again!!!

Seconded.
Geomania, shall I quote my post on the propoganda thread, or make the assumption that you read it, as you've since replied to the thread?

Seriously,
It's not that difficult to understand why. Francos had done many wonderful things for us. People have a perverted sense of what the UN delegate is supposed to do anyway.

I'm not feeling oppressed. The Pacific's a great place to live!

And I read it. How am I annoying? I'm not charging in here half-cocked yelling "FS sux0rzzz!!!", like some dumb 12 year-old PA people have. I'm just displaying my opinion in a very calm and curteous manner. I'm not hollering insults to anyone, except maybe dumb 12 year-olds in the Pacific Army who decided to make 125 UN nations.

I'll third that.
And I'm afraid that your ample use of exclamation marks DOES imply that you were yelling. Plus, some would consider the words "corrupt dictatorship" very insulting.
I'm sorry, but if you can't debate the issue without making some pathetic rallying cry laden with insults and exclamations, then don't debate the issue at all. Your words fall on deaf ears on this board, anyway.

My words fall upon the "deaf ears of the board" because the membership of this board are made up of FS hardcores and suckups. And I'm sure FS has been insulted worse than "corrupt dictatorship."

That's not true. Look at yourself No matter where you yell this, they're going to either fall on deaf ears or you're going to be preaching to the converted. Give up your spam campaign now.

Okay, first off, what I say now might get me banned, second, I have no problem with that.
People of the Pacifc, this is absurd, you cannot say anythin against Franco Spain with out getting banned and removed from the region. The last disenter, Goemania ony said that Franco Spain was a Ruthless Dictator, which if said to my nation would be a compliment. All I am asking for here is a little easing up on the "Free Speach" Laws.
I mean, getting banned for spaming is one thing, but just for say that the leader is a "Ruthless Dictator" this is a little over the top.

The fact is that people abuse free speech, especially in the Pacific. I mean, take America for example. You can say pretty much anything you want, and now political campaigns are waged with advertisements slandering a person's opponents. Over the past few years, I've seen much more about what any given politician's enemies have done wrong than what he or she has done right. And now candidates are required to endorse their ads in an effort to reduce this slander. People have to prove they can use free speech responsibly before they can be given the right, and that just hasn't happened in the Pacific.

I've dissented with Francos on several occaisions. I just do it civily, in an adult fashion, and in appropriate formats and in discussion with him. I don't generalize or make broad accusations like the one you just made. Francos is a fine ruler, and he's certainly not to be afraid of.
