Sorry to dampen the mood but I have an inquiry. Your Consul has denounced the Summit as being nothing more than a feel good exercise which is a sham. Is this the general feel in the Meritocracy regarding this and will they be participating? There's several of you registered and no real participation. At this rate I question why we are bothering and perhaps we should limit this to the Pacifics since more and more they are becoming really the only relevant influence we have and we on them.

Well, to be quite frank about the Summit, not much has discussed, that I, personally, as a Meritocratic Representative there, feel I need to be add to. Most of it has sort of been lead-in things, a little background about the Summit; few substantive issues have been left untouched by the Meritocracy. The Meritocracy will continue to participate. We have three representatives and one of the reasons only I am, at this moment posting, is that one of the representatives, the former Senator from Argyres, as you know from this thread, recently is going into a semi-retirement, while our Consul chooses to refrain, at this time, from participating in the beginnings of the Summit.

Thank you for the response Cortath. I'm still a little confused with your Consul's comments and dismissal of the process when we have laid out our plan and he feels there's nothing to comment on. Berhampore certainly did and was addressed. I'm somewhat heartened to see the remaining Meritocratic Senators will continue.
