While that would be showy and perhaps aesthetically pleasing, I'm not sure it would stand for anything or be relevant to anything related to the NPO or Pacific. I disagree. I would nominate the Hydra if we are to include a mythological beast. I picked a few images, the first thats suitably impressive, the sacond chosen for pragmatism as we can choose its colours ourselves. www.pantheon.org/areas/gallery/folklore/greek_heroic/hydra.htmlwww.freecoloringpages.com/coloring/hydra.htmlI choose it because it was a many headed beast, capable of surviving many beheadings, two new heads growing in the place of the one. I'd like to think there is a similarity between this survivability and the NPO.

I like the first one better.

Yeah me too. I chose the second one because itsa fairly uncomplicated line drawing, it would be easy to edit and colour for use with a flag. On the other hand Bertram made a very good flag for me using the first . . .

Nice. The blue and black color scheme works well, I think (Just look at my flag ) Here's the new coat of arms. It wasn't easy, but I like the way it turned out:

Shite, looks like Angelfire had its way with your image host, SirPaul... I really hope you backed your images up on your own computer. If you wouldn't mind getting another Angelfire account to upload the pictures to temporarily, we can transfer them to the main NPO Angelfire site and change the links in your posts to restore the images. If you have an Angelfire account for so long without creating a homepage, they'll remove your site, as we also learned the hard way a few months ago.

Some of the files are at my home computer. I've since created a new angelfire sight and my very own blog (I'm so excited!) I'll have the links up Saturday, Feb 28, 2004.

I like the blue and black flag... (personal thing there, being colour blind bites sometimes ) The seal looks awesome again the personal intrudes here, peace is fine, but I think doves are a wee bit cliche and frankly wussy. Peace through Vigilance: Maybe an eagle or something?
