Tittle? Gross. Black Adder, I understand what you mean. The spammers are quite annoying... the solution, however, is not to hand the delegacy over to them. Given enough time, they will dissipate, and we won't have to be as bothered by them. They seem to be disillusioned by the deaths of their comrades Thedoc and Savage Lands, and surely they can see that "taking over" the Pacific is impossible until Francos either loses interest in the game, or commits suicide, or hits his computer with a hammer, or some other unlikely circumstance takes place. It's only been a few months now, and already our enemies have weakened. To throw all this away in the hopes that people will "stop complaining" is unnecessary. There will always be complainers, despite who is in office, or what their politics are. That's life. I agree its counter productive to just give up. The thing we have to consider is Theodec is far more dangerous as a Martyr then a real ideological opponent. If the PA had a decent mind amongst them they could spin a cult of personality around him. Savage lands having got a swat in the nose by moderation will be far more careful not to cross the line and is invalidated.

It's not like he "sacrificed himself for the good of the cause" or something. Not exactly honorable, if you ask me.

A martyr? Thedoc got bored and his nation died due to inactivity. It's not like he "sacrificed himself for the good of the cause" or something. Not exactly honorable, if you ask me. There's the Secret Police in you coming out, far too pragmatic. My version: After days of weeping uncontrollably over losing his beloved ego stroke of a seat finally succumbing to the horrible addiction of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate chocolate Theodec's nation disappears from inactivity. The horrible seducer Ice Cream and mild porn have taken another victim. Martyr version: Theodec and his advisors built the Pacific into a teeming beacon of enlightenment and order in the middle of the Pacifics. Despite his trust in order and his love for his people there were those who conspired against him. When he was weakened by the endorsement bug they struck taking his delegacy away and banishing him along with any political opposition. Despite efforts to unseat Franco help from the Mods, Scripting and a horribly efficient secret police frustrated Theodec. Seeing it was hopeless he went away quietly and like the gentleman he was and let his nation die off. It was wrong to happen, that's why we fight. See the difference? That's what worries me because there's no archives besides the filth that gets spewed by Franco's enemies in Moderation. Hard to fight a myth with no facts. Even now there's people who have never heard of Theodec.

I am in agreement with Adder here. Propaganda, we know, is always more effective than truth.

I don't know, I just don't see how people could rally around someone like Thedoc (is there a "o?" I'm not sure). If he saw it was "hopeless," wouldn't that demoralize our enemies more?

No. They'd see it as an injustice perpetrated on a good man that must be revenged. Look at the Czarists fighting the Bolsheviks. Lots of analogies. We just have to maintain the view we are fighting the elitists and out to better our lot, which, is the truth.

Yup. That's the way things work; those who don't know the facts can be swayed any way someone wants them to be, as long as things continue to see reasonable. You could make a convincing argument that Hitler was a saint if you were making it to the right people in the right way. Not that I'm comparing Thedoc to Hitler, but if the opposition wanted to, they could spew just as must praise and nobility for Thedoc as they have deceit and tyranny for Francos.
