As a prelude to East Pacific recognition of the NPO, I would like to propose a non-aggression pact. Students of diplomacy might know what this is, but I'll explain anyway. A non-aggression pact is one step below a treaty. In it, both sides foreswear the use of violence against eachother. They can still remain vocally hostile, but they may no longer take aggressive action. It's generally a prelude to mutual defense pacts (a treaty where-in both sides agree to aid eachother should a third party attack), which itself could be considered a prelude to an alliance, where the two parties agree to aid each other, or at least remain out of the way, in whatever one of the parties wishes. I'm oversimplifying, but that's essentially it.* Now, this is the draft. The exact same thing will be placed in the NPO senate forum, where the Honoured Infinite Loop and El Caudillo can both sign, or discuss it, or tear it up and send me to write another one. It's all good. I like writing documents. We, the undersigned delegates of the regions of the Pacific and the East Pacific, do hereby foreswear any aggressive action against each other or our regions. We strive for peace, and mutual understanding, and shall not interfere in each other's regional politics.
We hereby recognise eachother as rightful delegates of the Greater Pacific Regions, elected by popular action.Delegate of the Pacific:Delegate of the East Pacific:*Translation: I've probably oversimplified to the point where I'm incorrect. But that's not important.

Ahem. The above is the direct copy of what I have written on the East Pacific Boards, translated here for your approval and perusal. I stress that this is only a draft, and I would be surprised if it was accepted on the first go.
I was wondering if I should add the South Pacific somewhere?
Well, it isn't important right now.

I have submitted a draft peace treaty to Francos Spain for the NPO's comments. I felt that something a little stronger was called for between our two regions due to the open warfare that existed between us for so long. While there are still some in The South Pacific who are very much opposed to peace, the majority seem to want to put our collective pasts behind us and move forward.

You will have to excuse this Comrade Franco, Loop. I did not authorize the drafting of this treaty, nor was I consulted on it at all. In the future Wabu, I expect you to ask for permission before taking such actions.

My apologies, Honoured Viceroy. I acted... as I thought the situation required. My most sincere apologies to both, El Caudillo, 1 Infinite Loop.
I acted rashly.
