The Foreign Office of the Pacific As First Officer of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs, and as a violent record-keeper, I felt it would be wise to keep a file on NPO Foreign Relations. Established Pacific Embassies Abroad and their Appointed Ambassadors:The New Meritocracy - Poskrebyshev The East Pacific - Wabu Dhati Established Foreign Embassies in the Pacific and their Recognized Ambassadors:The New Meritocracy - Suu Kyi Officially Sanctioned NPO Liaisons and their Missions:Black Adder - Negotiating for an exchange of Ambassadors with the South Pacific as well as with the West in addition to a Non-Aggression Pact.

By the way, is there any sort of a pact between us and the RR?
If there isn't I spent some time there (a region of mine got greifed before the anti-greifing laws), I could assist.

Unfortunately the RR have stated many times about their blind and unfounded hatred of our glorious leader. Not only this, but they are still dedicated to the archaic act of violently expanding their ideals, with the pacific being a primary target.

Why should we try, Zedra? The RR has made it perfectly clear where they stand regarding the NPO. I can't speak for the senators, but it would seem that the RR would have to extend their olive branch first rather than the NPO. The Rejected Realms Army is, as far as anyone can tell, a terrorist organization that seeks to subvert our region and government. I think it will take a lot to get the RR to make peace here in the Pacific and the NPO. I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I would caution against saying never on anything. I do know there are those in the RRA who vehemently oppose us as there are those who hold a more liberal attitude.
There are winds of change in the NS world, it remains to see what comes of them. I would further advise against unsanctioned contacts in the diplomatic arena. You may find yourself in no man's land with no official backing and hurting further efforts in that field.

When you get past the corrupt leadership of the RR and the RRA, it's really not that bad of an organization. They have a decent number of dedicated members. It's a shame that their leadership has tainted them beyond comprehension.

Kandarin is not that bad.... well, he his underlings are somewhat corrupt though.
There might be a chance of peace, and if there is, my opinion is that we grab it, at least for now.

Months ago we were at open conflict with the South Pacific and now, peace talks have made incredible progress. We opened up to the East Pacific and the New Meritocracy and more embassies settle in this forum.
I also sense the winds of change and above all, victory, comrade Black Adder.

I remember reading in the news that the NPO had relations with the USSR. Is this correct?

This is correct, but no official overtures were ever made to cement a pact or alliance with USSR.

Heh, if you can get an alliance with the RR, Zedra, I offer to try one with the Freedom Fighters. [/heavy sarcasm]
Ahhh, well, days were I would have said Lady Rebels hates, hated, and always will hate our guts. Indeed, now more than ever is it glorious to be a part of this magnificent region.

My question is, do I have official backing to try and work out a treaty with the RR?
