Hmmm. Isn't you that posted recently on Network Radio that you would like to go undercover for an assignment?
I totally question your motives, but I shall await to comment any further. If you convince Francos and the Senators, then I shall remain reticent on the matter. Until then, I do not nor shall I ever trust your motives. I saw what you did in the past, and I know what you tried to do to me.

Go undercover for the Pacific or the Network Radio...? What are you talking about, I can't interpret that sentence...

Treason is unforgiveable. Even if I am "forgiven" I will have to live with what I've done and I do not wish to have any position of power as I've already said. I only wish to see the will of the NPO fulfilled, whatever it may be. I'm just not feeling this. Sounds like crocodile tears to me. Thorin makes a good point when he compares you to Nur - at least Nur brought something to the table. I don't trust him and I don't trust you. You have nothing but enemies and you come back grovelling with your tail between your legs. If I were you, I'd say "oh well, game over" and start over clean with a new identity. Sorry if this seems less than compassionate, but I utterly fail to see the point of your presence here - unless this is yet another lame ploy.

This ought to clear it up - taken from the NetworkRadio forums: Cogitation wrote: then Zhdanov replied: My question is, who would be idiotic enough to publically volunteer for an undercover assignment? That's like... like.. so stupid. I can't think of an analogy stupid enough.

It was a joke. Would you like me to teach you some more?
There's one thing I can bring to the NPO. Or at least to some of its minor players.

Apparently Zhdanov thinks that three's a charm.
Nothing short of single-handedly overthrowing an enemy of the NPO would get us to even think about trusting you again, so you might want to stop wasting your time.

You tried to return once before under the guise of reform.

This is the same case...it is the same reason and the last time I never did anything. I just moved my nation here and had a private conversation with FS that I didn't take seriously as it sounded like a joke. Which I'm sure it was. I never agreed to do what he said thus the offer was never made.
This is therefore the second time.

You do not need "another" dog to sniff your rears, Thorin has that covered excellently. I believe the problem was that I never was a dog and had a tendency to think for myself.

I am not a senator, and as such may be speaking out of place. But as a former spy myself, this sounds like something I would write to gain access into a target. A tearful letter humbling yourself and asking for forgiveness in return for loyalty is pretty much part of the stock and standard form.
I would not trust this person, s/he may be loyal in times of peace, but when the going gets tough, he will desert you for his real master or mistress.
Again, I may be speaking out of line, but I believe it may help the NPO.

This forum, thanks to our senators, is relatively open. The only time you will see yourself admonished is for spamming and abusive posts, which thankfully rarely happen. Feel free to give your opinion on anything and everything, it may not meet with 100% agreement but it would be boring if we all had the same opinions anyway.
What better way for a spy to ingratiate himself to the Senators than to uncover "spies". One should not throw stones in a glass house.
