Politically: Clinton Morally: TR, AKA "the lion"!
I would like to point out Reagan did not beat Communism since the USSR was never Communist, and persay you do use that general idea of only Capitalist and Communist, there are still "Communist" nations in the world. Mind you the faults of the Soviet Union went all the way back to 1924 and increased in the 70's when Military spending drove them to nothing and distrubution was a major internal problem. Reagan did "invent" SDI and it drove the Soviets into spening more than they could afford and that led to the downfall of the USSR. I could go on for hours, but mind you that Reagan "crushing" "communism" is not a good reason.
As well in capitalism there is a period of economic boom and economic decline that determines the market. He was in power during thoughs years, while Bush is now in the decline years. Did anyone say FDR, Kennedy, most of 1800 Presidents? They all had economic growth beyond some citizen's wildest dreams. Before WW1, the 30's, the 70's, and now are times of economic decline. It will go up if the revolution does not happen first.

Clinton, are you joking me, he was a clown. The economy did well under him as it has done with almost all democratic presidents but the rest of the world say him as a joke, he bombed the crap out of Bosnia to hide his sex scandal instead of going after the terrorists which eventually toppled the twin towers. Though he wasn't on a mission from God unlike Dubya.

I'd have to say Eisenhower, sure he staged a coup in Gautemala for Bananas but at least he wrote his own speeches he was the last one to do so.

Harry Truman. Spoke like the common man and wasn't afraid to be sensible. Told China, MacArthur and everyone else to go get stuffed. And he managed to keep Roswell very well covered up too...

Teddy's my man. Who else spoke softly and carried a big stick?
Oh, and I like Silent Cal. The most Lockean president the US ever had. True Story: A reporter told him that she bet a friend that she could get him to say at least three words. His Response: "You Lose" Hence the name "Silent Cal"

Teddy was a racist. Read his speeches and you'll probably see it. He actually advocated a hierarchy of nations whereby the US and Britain would be at the top because they were superior in race and intellect.
Eisenhower was an excellent general, but he made one serious blunder concerning Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh was interested in establishing good relations with the US, but because Ike bought into the "Domino Theory" he decided to shun Ho Chi Minh. Kennedy would later make the same mistake, and then LBJ went overboard with the mistake.
My favorite was our first president, George Washington. In his farewell address he stated that a two party system would eventually tear the nation in half. I agree, and now politicians do not serve the people; they merely serve the interests of their party. Every issue gets spun along party lines and it becomes nearly impossible to determine the real truth.
So, that's why I'm writing in Adam Sandler as president this year!

Truman was a national treasure. Unafraid to do what he thought best even if it was unpopular. And how did *you* find out about Roswell, BA? It's supposed to be classified! And Clinton? Have you seen his library in Little Rock? It looks like a white trailer home on stilts. Talk about white trailer trash ! GW just looks and sounds silly. But just like the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, he has a diploma and that's what makes him special.
